HOME STUDY PROGRAM
If you are in search of an alternative to in-person instruction, then our home study program might be just what you're looking for. Our school utilizes the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) School of Tomorrow curriculum which emphasizes independent learning. With our curriculum, your student will be able to advance at their own pace under the supervision of a parent and regular check-ins with a teacher, which can either be virtual or on campus.
One full year of schooling is equal to 12 PACEs (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education) per subject.
For example:
Math 1025 - 1036 is one year of 3rd grade math
English 1097 - 1108 is one year of freshman English
Parents of home school students will need to keep the score key with them when the student is taking the Self-Test (located in the last 1-3 pages of each PACE).
Parents will need to score the Self-Test with the answer key provided to them for each PACE. When scoring, the parent must check the answers in the key for the corresponding pages. If the answers are not the same or mean the same, then the answer is incorrect. The points for each question are located on the upper right-hand corner of the beginning of each Self-Test. The final score must also be recorded.
For students in grades 1-6, they will be required to take a supervised PACE test after their Self-Test.
The student must have an 80% or above in order to pass and move on to the next PACE. If they do not pass, contact the vice principal for further direction.
